European Migrants in the UK in the Brexit Era: Discursive Approaches
While discourse-focused studies on Brexit have primarily examined political debates and language policies, they have largely overlooked the voices and experiences of EU migrants. To address this gap, the symposium “European Migrants in the UK in the Brexit Era: Discursive Perspectives” invited research:

• on a variety of topics such as migration narratives, identity, media representation, language issues, intercultural communication, hostile practices, education, and language policy.

• using various research methods such as interviews, ethnography, and media analysis.

A two-day online Symposium was held on 13th and 14th June 2024.
